Hosted by Gabby Windey—who fans know from The Bachelorette and The Traitors—the show put 22 contestants on a luxury yacht where romance and competition mixed like oil and water. The premise had potential: love on the open sea, challenges for access, the whole thing. But apparently it didn't connect the way Cooper and the network hoped.

This is a reminder that even when you've got a massive platform (Cooper's podcast pulls millions), translating that into TV gold is a whole different game. The dating show lane is crowded anyway—between Netflix, ABC, and every streaming service trying to replicate Love Island energy, there's a lot of noise. Love Overboard just didn't cut through.
