Amazon Wants to Kill 'Criminal' PA's Harassment Suit — Denies Gun-Pointing Claim
Amazon's fighting back hard against a production assistant's allegations on the upcoming series.

Amazon MGM just moved to dismiss a lawsuit filed by production assistant Ijaaz Noohu, who alleged he faced racial and sexual harassment on the set of the new series Criminal. The studio's pushing back on his claims — especially the one about a showrunner pointing a gun at him — calling it "pure invention."
Noohu filed the suit just two weeks ago with those serious allegations in his corner. Amazon's response? Go to court and try to make it disappear.
This is the kind of behind-the-scenes industry beef that rarely sees daylight until somebody decides to fight. Whether Amazon's motion sticks or Noohu's case moves forward will say a lot about what's actually happening on sets these days — and how much power showrunners really have over their crew. We'll be watching how this plays out.
