BeatHub Moves On Chile's BeLive, Tightens Grip On Bogotá's Movistar Arena
The Latin American live events game just got another power move.

BeatHub, the company behind Tuboleta (that's the ticket platform heavy in the region), just bought out BeLive's stake in Colombiana de Escenarios. That's the outfit running Bogotá's Movistar Arena, one of the biggest venues in the city. The result: BeatHub now owns the whole thing outright.
This is the kind of vertical integration that's been reshaping live events across Latin America. When you control the ticketing system and the venue operation, you're controlling the entire funnel—from who gets in to what they pay. BeLive Entertainment, the Chilean player who was in the mix, is stepping back from this particular game.
The Movistar Arena's a major stage for music and events in Bogotá, so this acquisition signals BeatHub's serious about consolidating power in Colombia's live entertainment space. Whether that's good news for artists and fans—cheaper tickets, better access—or just another squeeze on the supply side remains to be seen.
