Carrot Top Ready to Get Back on Stage After Health Crisis

Carrot Top — real name Scott Thompson — is speaking out for the first time since a rough couple of weeks that landed him in the hospital. The legendary prop comedian posted a message thanking everyone who reached out with support, prayers, and love during the difficult stretch.

Thompson's got his eyes on the comeback: he's locked in to return to the Luxor Las Vegas stage on October 19th, ready to do what he does best. For decades, he's been the face of Vegas comedy — that wild energy, the props, the bits — and this appearance signals he's ready to get back in front of his people.

It's real talk that stars go through it, just like anybody else. The fact that he's speaking up about it and mapping out a return to work says something about his resilience. Vegas crowds have always shown up for Carrot Top, and they'll be waiting for him when the curtain goes up again.
