Drake Drops 'Fear of Missing Out' — An Hour of New Visuals, Features & Family

Drake just premiered a whole film's worth of new music, star cameos, and personal moments.

Drake went full creative mode Tuesday night with "Fear of Missing Out," a livestreamed hour-plus experience mixing music videos, unreleased tracks, and a rotating cast of guests. We're talking Sexyy Red, Winnie Harlow, Lena the Plug, Don Toliver, and even his mom Sandi Graham making appearances throughout.

Drake had been hyping this as more than just another music drop — calling it a "not so short film" — and he actually delivered on that. It's the kind of move that shows how much the streaming era has let artists blur the lines between visual albums, concert films, and straight-up visual storytelling. Not every artist can pull that off without it feeling scattered, but Drake's been building toward this kind of multimedia moment for a minute.

The project also includes a remix of Ella Langley's track, which is an interesting cross-genre flex. Whether this is a one-off flex or the start of something bigger for Drake's 2024 rollout remains to be seen, but the man clearly wanted to remind people he's still capable of controlling the room—even when he's just pressing play on a livestream.
