Emmy Season Parties Are Back and LA Is Buzzing

While the awards shine, the real action happens off-camera at the after-parties.

Emmy night isn't just about who wins statues—it's about who's seen where, and this year the celebration is spread across LA like never before. From BAFTA North America galas to Creative Coalition events, the city's been packed with industry figures hitting every corner of the map.

The major streaming players aren't sleeping on it either. Apple TV, Netflix, and HBO Max all threw their own bashes, which means there's been champagne flowing at every hour, everywhere. Mariska Hargitay, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Riz Ahmed, Katherine LaNasa, and plenty of other names were out there making the rounds—the kind of mixed crowd you get when TV's prestige and pop culture collide.

It's the usual LA move: the ceremony is one thing, but Emmy season is really about the entire ecosystem of celebration. Agency parties, streamer flexes, coalition events—they all matter because that's where deals get whispered about and people actually connect. The after-parties have become just as much a part of the story as the awards themselves.

This is what television's biggest night has evolved into: a full-scale social event where the real season runs way longer than the telecast.
