EMPIRE Taps Two SVPs to Lock Down New York Operations
The indie powerhouse is doubling down on its East Coast infrastructure with two major executive moves.

EMPIRE just made it official: Leesa Brunson-Boland and Bina Fronda are joining the roster as Senior Vice Presidents, both anchored in the New York office. Brunson-Boland's taking the SVP, A&R Operations role—so she'll be overseeing the artist development and signing side of things. Fronda's stepping in as SVP, Marketing, which means she's got her hands on how EMPIRE's roster and releases get in front of people.
This is the kind of move that signals EMPIRE's serious about consolidating power on the East Coast. The indie label has built something real over the last decade, and staffing up at the SVP level in New York—one of the most important music markets in the country—shows they're not just surviving but expanding.
Brunson-Boland and Fronda both bring real experience to the table, and adding that kind of firepower to A&R operations and marketing simultaneously means EMPIRE's thinking strategically about artist pipeline and visibility. Whether it's new signings or pushing catalog, these moves matter.
