Family Won't Back Down: Experts Question Police Actions in Kohen Wiley Shooting
When cops say it was justified, the family and outside observers aren't buying it.
Kohen Wiley's family is refusing to let this one fade into the background. They're pushing hard against the state's decision to clear the officer involved in his shooting, and now they've got professionals backing their concerns.
The sticking point? Experts are raising serious questions about the tactical decisions made that day—specifically why an officer positioned himself in a dangerous situation in the first place. That's not a small detail. It cuts right to how the incident unfolded and whether things had to go the way they did.
This is the kind of pushback that matters. Families calling out questionable decisions. Experts on record saying something doesn't add up. It keeps the pressure on and forces a real conversation about police accountability instead of letting official statements be the final word.
The fight's still live.
