Five Tracks That Actually Mattered This Week
Willie J Healey, DIIV, and KAYTRANADA among the standouts cutting through the static.
Every week there's a flood of new music dropping, and most of it blends together by Thursday. This batch didn't. Five releases hit different enough to stick around in the rotation—the kind of moves that remind you why you stay plugged in.
Willie J Healey brought something sharp. Ceebo and Blanco came through with chemistry that felt natural, not forced. RIO KOSTA stepped up with something worth your time. DIIV kept doing what DIIV does—moody, layered, pulling you deeper with each listen. And then you got Shay Lia linking with KAYTRANADA, which is the kind of pairing that makes you pause and actually listen instead of just having music on.
The noise is always there. These five reminded us that signal still exists if you're paying attention. Check what made the cut and see if they land the same way for you.
