Heidi Klum Stepping In For Simon Cowell On AGT While He Recovers
The OG supermodel is heading back to the judges table.
Simon Cowell's still on the mend from back surgery, so NBC's bringing in reinforcements for America's Got Talent. Heidi Klum—who's no stranger to the judge's seat—is sliding in to cover for him during next week's three-hour quarterfinals special for Season 21.
It's a solid move: Klum knows the AGT formula, she's got that sharp eye for talent, and she can handle the pressure of a live broadcast. Cowell's recovery is taking a minute, but having someone with her experience step in keeps things steady for the contestants and viewers alike.
The quarterfinals are crucial—this is where the field really gets narrowed down and the competition tightens. You need judges who can spot what separates the real deal from the nearly-there, and Klum's proven she can do that across multiple franchises.
No word yet on how long Cowell will be out, but for now, the show moves forward.
