Jenna Dewan Hits the DWTS Floor — And Her Daughter Was the Real MVP

Sometimes the best motivation comes straight from your kid.

Jenna Dewan's got a new reason to get on that dance floor. The Step Up star signed up for season 35 of Dancing With the Stars, and apparently her 13-year-old daughter Everly had a lot to do with it.

According to the report, Everly straight-up asked her mom to do the show — and Jenna was down. That's the kind of co-sign that actually matters. After years in the entertainment world and her own dancing background, Dewan's got the skills to back up the audition. But more than that, she's got the kind of real motivation that makes for good TV: family.

It's a solid look for both of them. Everly gets to watch her mom do what she does, and Dewan gets to remind people she's still got moves. The Step Up connection runs deep — this isn't some random celebrity trying to stay relevant. She knows choreography. She knows performance.

Season 35 just got a little more interesting.
