Joe Jonas Got Real About That Album Flop

When your solo project doesn't land, sometimes you gotta talk to somebody.

Joe Jonas is being honest about what went down when Fastlife dropped. The album peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200—respectable on the surface, but not what you'd expect from a Jonas Brothers member with that name recognition. The lead single "See No More" barely cracked the Hot 100, stalling at No. 92.

That kind of underperformance can mess with your head. Jonas sought therapy to work through it, which—credit to him—shows some maturity about the whole thing. There's no shame in that conversation. Not every swing connects, and the music industry doesn't care about your pedigree when the numbers don't stack.

It's a reminder that legacy and buzz only take you so far. You still gotta deliver something that lands with people, and when it doesn't, the mental toll is real. At least he's not pretending it hit different.
