John Wilson Is Turning Harry Styles' Tour Into Art
The 'How To' director is bringing his eye to Styles' massive run.

John Wilson, the guy behind HBO's How To With John Wilson, is stepping into the tour documentary space. He's directing a film about Harry Styles' Love On Tour — the massive global run that basically became a cultural event in itself.
Wilson's got a specific lens: he finds the weird, small, human moments hiding inside bigger pictures. That's exactly what made his HBO series work. So instead of just cameras following a superstar through stadiums, expect something that digs into what a tour of that scale actually feels like — the behind-the-scenes rhythms, the people moving the machine, the real exhaustion and exhilaration that doesn't always make the highlight reel.
Styles' tour was already pretty monumental — sold-out arenas, cultural moment type energy. Having Wilson document it is interesting because he doesn't do standard hero worship. He finds the texture. Whether this leans more concert film or something deeper remains to be seen, but pairing his sensibility with Styles' scale could be something worth watching.
Details on release are still light, but this is one to keep on the radar.
