Jon Stewart Weaponizes Nathan Fielding's Holmes Doc to Roast Trump

The Daily Show host found the perfect clip to mock the president and his inner circle.

Jon Stewart came back to the desk Tuesday night and found a creative way to throw hands at Donald Trump — by spinning Nathan Fielder's Elizabeth Holmes documentary trailer into a straight-up roast.

Stewart used the "You Can See Everything" promo to dig at Trump for existing in what he called a "reality distortion field," the kind of bubble where facts and actual events just bounce off like they don't matter. Classic Stewart move: find some pop culture moment and turn it into a weapon against whoever's in power.

The bit also took a shot at one of Trump's most loyal aides—the type of ride-or-die operative known around D.C. as the "human printer" for basically stamping whatever the boss says into official action. No critical thinking, no pushback, just printing.

It's the kind of comedy that only works if you've got the right clip and the right target. Fielder's Holmes doc—about fake-it-till-you-make-it fraud at scale—gave Stewart the perfect mirror to hold up. The overlap between Elizabeth Holmes' delusion and Trump's relationship with reality was too obvious to miss.
