JT's Apple Doc Gonna Dredge Up the Janet & Britney Ghosts

So Apple's got a Justin Timberlake documentary on the way, and word is it's not gonna be a pure victory lap. The reported project will apparently circle back to the Super Bowl halftime show moment that defined him for the wrong reasons—that 2004 incident with Janet Jackson that he never really had to answer for at the time, even though she sure did.

The doc also supposedly addresses Britney Spears calling him out publicly. Remember when she had some things to say about their breakup and how things went down? That's supposedly gonna be part of the conversation too.

Here's the thing: JT's had a whole career after both of those moments, but neither one ever fully left him. A real reckoning with that era instead of sidestepping it could actually be interesting—if it's honest. But this is still a project he's got control over, so we'll see how much real accountability actually makes the final cut. Docs like this can go either way: genuine reflection or sophisticated PR.
