Kaepernick Breaks Down What He Actually Said to Hov
Kap finally spoke on that Jay-Z Yankee Stadium moment from 2019.
Back in 2019, Jay-Z dropped Kaepernick's name during a freestyle at Yankee Stadium—a moment that had people talking. Now Kap is clearing the air on what really went down between them around that time.
The former 49ers QB has been moving intentional since stepping away from football. His work off the field speaks louder than any stat sheet ever could, and he's kept his story straight while staying focused on what matters. When Hov brought him up onstage that summer, it was a public acknowledgment that meant something—not just noise.
Kaepernick's finally sharing his side of those conversations, giving us the real instead of the speculation that's been floating around for years. It's a reminder that these two were operating in the same space during a pivotal moment, both handling their business in ways that demanded respect.
Worth hearing straight from the source.
