Season 3 of Landman ain't rolling cameras just yet. James Jordan caught up with Us Weekly at the Lioness premiere and broke down what's happening behind the scenes — and honestly, it sounds like nobody's stressing.

Sheridan, the guy who's basically running half of prestige TV right now, is still in the writing room putting the finishing touches on what's supposed to be another ten-episode run. That's the delay, plain and simple. Dude's taking his time to get it right instead of rushing product out the door. You can respect that.

Jordan seemed hyped about getting back in there with the whole crew when it actually happens. After a hit first season and a solid second run, Landman built a real following doing the oil-industry-drama thing with actual stakes and character work — not just pretty people in crisis mode.

No exact premiere date yet, but when Sheridan hands in the scripts, things should move quick. The machine knows how to roll.
