Luke Combs Keeps Stacking Wins With His 21st Country Radio #1

Luke Combs just claimed his 21st number one on country airplay with 'Be By You,' and at this point, the man's basically running the format. What makes this one stand out? It's already the third chart-topper to come from his album The Way I Am — which tells you everything you need to know about how locked-in he is right now.

Combs has been the most consistent hitmaker in country music for years, and these kinds of streaks don't happen by accident. The guy knows how to write songs that stick with people, how to get into the booth and deliver something real, and apparently how to do it over and over again without the wheels falling off.

The Way I Am clearly has more gas in the tank. Whether that momentum keeps up or the radio eventually moves on to someone else is the only real question at this point — but for now, Combs is playing a different game than everybody else.
