Marta Kauffman's New Improv Comedy 'DINKS' Landing on Prime Video
The 'Friends' creator is bringing a multi-cam improvised series to Amazon with June Diane Raphael and Paul Scheer leading the charge.

Marta Kauffman isn't done making TV gold. The legendary producer behind Friends is heading to Prime Video with DINKS, a multi-camera comedy that's built around improvisation—a whole different vibe from the scripted sitcom machine we know her for.
June Diane Raphael and Paul Scheer are locked in as the leads. Both of them know their way around comedy: Raphael's got that sharp comedic timing, and Scheer's been grinding in the improv and sketch world for years. Having two solid comedians anchor an improv-forward show is smart casting—you need people who can think on their feet and keep the energy up.
The project comes together through Amazon MGM Studios, Lionsgate Television, and Publicis Media's entertainment division. It's a solid lineup of production partners with the infrastructure to actually get something like this made and distributed.
What's interesting is the format itself. Multi-cam improv isn't exactly common in prestige TV—most improv-based shows lean into scripted comedy with improvisation as a tool. A whole series built around it could go either way, but with Kauffman's track record and the cast they've assembled, there's reason to be curious about what they're cooking up.
