MCR Might Actually Be Cooking Something New
My Chemical Romance hinted at fresh material during their tour finale—and yeah, it's been a minute.

My Chemical Romance closed out their tour run and in the process dropped some hints that new music could be on the way. The band didn't spell it out, but the teases were there for fans paying attention.
If it happens, this would be the first full LP from the Jersey legends since Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys back in 2010. That's over a decade of silence on the album front—though they've done reunion shows and kept the pulse alive for their fanbase in the years since.
The MCR faithful has been waiting for this conversation for years. After the band regrouped for live dates, the question of new material was always there, lingering. Now it looks like they might actually have something cooking in the lab.
Nothing's official yet, but tour-closing shows are usually when bands make moves like this. If Gerard Way and crew are serious, 2025 could get interesting. We'll see what actually materializes.
