Michael Mankowski's 'Getting Lost' Universe Just Got the Big Agency Co-Sign
Animaginary and Gersh are taking Mankowski's animated slate worldwide.

Michael Mankowski's building something in the animated space, and now it's got serious representation behind it. Canadian animation studio Animaginary just linked with Gersh to handle worldwide rights on Mankowski's whole creative ecosystem — the adult animated feature Getting Lost, the companion series Getting Lost: Lost Tapes, and the spin-off Not That Indian.
All three projects flow from Mankowski's vision as writer and director, backed by producer Mark A.Z. Dippé and the rest of the team. This kind of multi-project deal is the type of move that signals real momentum. When an established agency like Gersh co-signs and a studio like Animaginary coordinates the rollout, it usually means the work is ready to travel.
The details on what these projects actually are — the tone, the audience, the whole vibe — are still under wraps, but the infrastructure is clearly in place. That's how you build a universe: get the shepherds locked in first, then let the work speak for itself.
