Naya Rivera's Son Josey Books His First Film Role
The kid's moving into the game—Josey Dorsey lands a spot in upcoming indie film.

Josey Dorsey, the 10-year-old son of late Glee star Naya Rivera and actor Ryan Dorsey, is stepping in front of the camera for his first film role. According to IMDB, he's set to appear in The Burning Valley, a project from writer-director Evan Coury that's currently filming in Pennsylvania.
It's a quiet move into the industry—nothing huge, nothing forced. Just a kid getting cast in an indie project, which is how a lot of people start. Given his parents' Hollywood backgrounds, the option was always there, but it sounds like this is something he's actually pursuing.
Naya tragically passed away in 2020 at age 33, and Ryan has been raising Josey since. Whether this is a full-time thing or just something he wanted to try, only time will tell. Either way, it's good to see him out here making his own moves.
