Noah Kahan: New England Ain't Never Getting Old
Vermont's favorite son isn't running out of songs about home anytime soon.

Noah Kahan's got a good problem on his hands. The dude's built an entire catalog around New England, and he's made it clear he's not tired of the material yet. When you're homesick, you don't call your therapist — you just queue up one of his tracks and you're right back there.
There's something to be said for an artist who doesn't need to chase trends or reinvent himself every album cycle. Kahan found his lane early: thoughtful, introspective songs about small-town life, mountains, and the feeling of belonging somewhere real. It resonates because it's genuine. He's not performing a version of New England nostalgia — he's living it.
The fact that he's leaning into this rather than fighting it speaks volumes. Too many artists outgrow their origins the second they blow up nationally. Kahan's doing the opposite. He's doubling down on what makes him him, and audiences are responding to that authenticity. As long as he keeps writing like this, there's no reason to think the well runs dry.
