Pattinson Says 'The Batman: Part II' Is Flipping the Script — "A Real Left Turn"
Rob's got us wondering what direction Matt Reeves is taking the Dark Knight next.

Robert Pattinson's been keeping his mouth shut about The Batman: Part II, but he just broke some news: the sequel ain't a repeat of the first one. He told Collider the movie's "a real left turn," which is film-speak for "we're doing something different."
That's interesting because the first Batman was already a pretty specific vibe — grounded, detective-noir, moody as hell. So what does a left turn even look like from there? Pattinson called it "so ambitious," which could mean anything from a tonal shift to just swinging harder on the story. He's genuinely excited about it, which is worth paying attention to.
Matt Reeves doesn't do standard moves. He gets a vision and he commits. If Pattinson's hyped and the whole thing's supposed to feel fresh, that's either genius or a big swing that could miss. Either way, they're not phoning it in, and that matters.
We'll find out what Reeves had cooking when the film drops.
