Pop Smoke Case: Teen Sentenced in Separate Fentanyl Bust

Deijae Jester, who was 15 when Pop Smoke was killed in February 2020, just got hit with four years for fentanyl smuggling. That's a different case than the murder itself, but it shows the broader picture of how deep some of these young cats were into the street life.

Jester was one of the people involved in that home invasion in Canoga Park that left the Brooklyn drill rapper dead. The fentanyl case is separate, but it underscores how complicated these situations get when you're dealing with kids mixed up in multiple crimes at the same time.
