Reality Star Shamar McCoy Booked on Battery Charge
Love Island alum facing legal trouble after alleged November incident.

Shamar McCoy got arrested Monday on a misdemeanor battery rap. According to court records, the reality TV personality and his boyfriend are accused of putting hands on somebody back in November 2024.
Details are still thin on what actually went down that night, but whatever happened was enough to land McCoy in custody. Battery charges can range from serious to relatively light depending on injuries and circumstances — the fact it's being charged as a misdemeanor suggests it fell on the lower end, but that's still a legal headache he didn't need.
This is one of those situations where the full story matters. Was this mutual combat, a justified response, or something worse? Court docs will eventually spell it out, but right now it's just the arrest and the charge. McCoy's got his day coming up, and we'll see how this shakes out legally.
For now, another influencer learning that whatever happens off-camera can still catch up with you when the law gets involved.
