Red Light Management Is Going Nordic
Two industry veterans are building out Scandinavia's next major artist management operation.

Red Light Management and The Very Good just linked up to launch Red Light Management Scandinavia — and they're bringing real weight to the table. James Sandom, who built out Red Light's UK operation, and Jakob Emtestam, the founder and CEO of The Very Good, are heading the new shop.
This is the kind of move that signals ambition. Scandinavia's always had talent, but having a dedicated management presence with roots in both the UK scene and the Nordic ecosystem could actually change the game for artists in that region. Sandom knows how to scale a management company; Emtestam knows the local market inside out. That's the combination that works.
What this really means: Red Light's extending its reach into new territory, and they're doing it the smart way — partnering with someone who already understands the landscape instead of parachuting in blind. Scandinavia's been sleeping on itself for too long. Maybe this is the push that changes that.
