Rick Ross Dodges Felony Charge in Miami Domestic Case
The felony battery beef is gone, but the fight isn't over.

Rick Ross caught a W in his Miami domestic violence case this week — prosecutors straight up dropped the felony battery charge against him. That's the kind of move that changes everything when you're facing serious time.
But before the Rozay camp pops bottles, pump the brakes: he's still got two misdemeanor charges hanging over his head. So while the hammer's lighter now, this thing isn't done. Court documents show the prosecution decided to scale back, but that doesn't mean the case disappears.
This is one of those situations where "cleared of the most serious charge" doesn't equal "in the clear." Ross and his legal team clearly worked something out or made their case strong enough that the state wasn't ready to roll the dice on a felony conviction. Still, those misdemeanors are real, and they're still live.
We'll be watching how this resolves. For now, though, he's breathing a little easier than he was.
