Russo Brothers Confirm Hulk's Got a Role in Avengers: Doomsday
Mark Ruffalo's coming back—and he's tied up in whatever Doom's got cooking.
The Russo Brothers just dropped a semi-confirmation that the Hulk is gonna be somewhere in the Avengers: Doomsday mix. They wouldn't fully commit (typical Marvel), but they made it clear Bruce Banner is "certainly involved in the story that revolves around Doom." That's code for: yeah, he's in it.
This comes after Ruffalo popped up in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, so the groundwork's already there for him to slide into the bigger ensemble piece. The real question nobody's answered yet is how he factors into whatever Doom's plan is. Is Banner running scared? Trying to stop him? We don't know—and honestly, Marvel's probably gonna keep it that way until the trailer drops.
There's still a ton of blanks to fill on Doomsday, but at least we know the Jade Giant ain't sitting this one out.
