Suno Studio 2.0 is here—MIDI support, AI chat, unlimited downloads
The AI music-making platform is doubling down on creator tools and claiming real artists are already using it to make hits.
Suno just rolled out Studio 2.0, and they're swinging for the fences. New features include MIDI support (so producers can plug in their own patterns and instruments), an AI chat bar for real-time help while you're working, and—this is the move—no more download limits on your tracks. That last one matters if you're actually trying to use these tools in a real workflow.
The company's also quick to point out that Grammy-winning artists have already been in the lab with Suno, allegedly cooking up chart-topping records on the platform. Whether that moves the needle for skeptics is another question. The AI music space is still messy—a lot of promise, a lot of legal fog, and a lot of people watching to see if this becomes a real tool or just a toy.
But features like MIDI support do suggest Suno's listening to what actual producers need, not just what sounds good in a press release. That's worth paying attention to.
