Trey Songz Takes Promoter to Court Over Half-Million Dollar Concert Fallout
Trigga's production company is going after a Texas promoter with a hefty lawsuit.

Trey Songz isn't letting this one slide. The R&B vet just filed suit against a Texas concert promoter, claiming they ghosted on a deal right before showtime—and he's asking for over $500K to make it right.
According to the paperwork, Trey's production company had locked in an agreement with the promoter for a scheduled performance. But then? Radio silence. The show never happened, and neither did payment for services rendered or the costs Trey had already fronted to make the event go.
When Business Goes Bad
This is the kind of situation that happens more often than artists want to admit—promoters backing out last-minute, leaving artists holding the bag on production costs, crew fees, and travel. Most times these beefs get settled quietly behind closed doors. But when the numbers are this big, you end up in court.
No word yet on how the promoter's side is planning to respond, but this one's gonna play out in the system for a minute. For now, Trey's making it clear: if you're gonna book him, you better have the money and the follow-through.
