Vancouver Dance Label Reliant Music Links with Warner's ADA for Global Push

A Canadian indie is tapping Warner's infrastructure to take its dance catalog worldwide.

Reliant Music, the Vancouver-based operation that's been building its dance and electronic catalog, just locked in a partnership with ADA Benelux—Warner Music Group's distribution and label services arm. It's the kind of move that lets a scrappy indie keep its A&R DNA and artist development hands-on while getting the international machinery that only a major can provide.

The deal basically fuses what Reliant does best—scouting talent, breaking records, developing artists from the ground up—with ADA's reach across Europe and beyond. For a dance label, that's crucial. Electronic and dance music lives on the global stage; you can't really build momentum staying regional.

It's a smart play in 2024's music landscape. Labels and collectives don't have to choose between staying independent-minded and getting real distribution anymore. The infrastructure is there if you know where to find it. Whether Reliant's records actually break through depends on the music and the hustle, but at least they won't be fighting the logistical battle alone.
