Yung Lean & Gener8ion Turn Up the Heat on 'Storm' — VMA Nod Incoming
The Swedish rapper and creative collective just dropped a remade visual that's got the award voters' attention.

Yung Lean and the creative minds at Gener8ion went back into the lab with their "Storm" video, and whatever they cooked up this time is resonating. The reworked short film pulled in four VMA nominations—including a shot at video of the year, which tells you everything you need to know about how it's landing.
The collaboration already proved itself on the live stage too. During their VMA performance, the whole thing connected hard enough to earn them a Moon Person trophy, showing that what works on screen translates just as clean in person.
Yung Lean's always been about pushing visuals beyond the standard music video format, and pairing with Gener8ion clearly gave the project the kind of artistic weight that catches the Academy's eye. Four noms is serious recognition in a year of heavy hitters.
Head to the source to catch the full breakdown on what made this remake click.
