Deezer Picks Up 300K Direct Subs While B2B Game Stumbles
The French streamer is growing where it counts most — direct customers — but losing ground in the partnership lane.

Deezer dropped their Q3 2026 numbers and there's a split story hiding in there. On the direct subscription side, they added 300,000 net new customers over the past year. That's real growth in a market where every sub counts, especially for a mid-tier player competing against Spotify and Apple Music.
But the B2B side — all those deals with telecom companies and bundled offerings that used to be a big part of their playbook — kept sliding. That partnership revenue stream is drying up, which tells you something about how the streaming market has consolidated and shifted.
Deezer's always been the underdog play in streaming, and these results show they're doubling down on winning subscribers the old-fashioned way: offering a service people actually want to pay for directly. Whether that's enough to keep them in the game long-term? That's the real question. The direct growth is solid, but losing traction in B2B partnerships is a hole they'll need to fill.
