Larry the Cable Guy's 'American Mayhem' Clip Show Lands on Paramount Network
Larry the Cable Guy is bringing his viral-clip show to cable with 13 new episodes.

Paramount Network just picked up American Mayhem, the half-hour clip show hosted by Larry the Cable Guy that's already running in syndication. V10 Entertainment is producing the series, which will debut on the cable network Friday, Nov. 13, at 9 p.m. ET with a full 13-episode order.
For those who haven't caught it yet: American Mayhem is basically what it sounds like — a show built around wild, funny, and ridiculous clips (think viral moments, stunts, fails) strung together and riffed on by the comedian. It's a formula that's worked on TV before and clearly has enough juice to expand beyond syndication into cable.
The move signals Paramount Network sees value in the property and believes there's an audience ready for more of this kind of unscripted, clip-based content in the linear TV space. Whether people still watch cable for this stuff remains the real question, but the network is betting on it.
