THREE-D: South Carolina-made music rooted in truth, soul, and real life.

"South Carolina-made music rooted in truth, soul, and real life."

I wrote this song as a sort of memorial to my late aunt who I witnessed pass away the prior day due to an illness. The song is about the pressure of real life—financial responsibilities, unexpected struggles, relationships, and the reality of finding out who genuinely stands beside you when life gets difficult and that the person my aunt was to my mom and many of her family members. This record isn’t about pretending everything is perfect. It’s about putting real-life pressure into music and telling a story that I believe a lot of people can connect with.

Where it started

I’ve been immersed in music for most of my life, starting with singing on the choir at church, being school chorus, Band where I learned to play instruments like the guitar, piano and saxaphone. This is also where I discovered my love for music and I’ve been hooked since.

The come-up

The road here wasn't clean. I’ve had to push through personal struggles, financial pressure, and hard seasons that made it difficult to stay focused on my music though I learned to turn those hardships into music that is relatable and touches the soul.

What they want you to know

I want new fans to know that my music comes from real life—I’m not perfect, but I’m honest, resilient, and always pushing forward.

What's next

I plan on releasing a lot more music this year and I will be attending open-mics/ shows which I will post on my social media. My goal is to reach as many ears as possible this year.
