Volk & Islam Cooking Up Something Different
The UFC champ is bringing his cooking show to the next level with a surprise collab.

Alex Volkanovski's been building something real with his cooking show, and now he's stepping it up. Word is the featherweight champ is linking Islam Makhachev for a special episode—taking the whole thing beyond the octagon and into the kitchen.
It's that perfect crossover moment: two of the sport's biggest names, but instead of trading strikes, they're trading recipes. Volkanovski's already been putting in work on the Cooking With Volk platform, but having Makhachev guest is a different energy. These collaborations matter because they remind us these fighters are more than just their fight records—they got lives, interests, and apparently some culinary moves.
The MMA space has been leaning harder into content and lifestyle plays lately, and this is exactly that lane. Whether it's genuine or just smart business doesn't really matter—audiences eat this stuff up (literally). Two elite athletes cooking together hits different than another interview.
Look for this to drop sometime soon. In the meantime, the fact that Volkanovski's building a whole separate brand outside fighting says something about where combat sports are headed.
