Ancosha Stopped Hiding β And Turned His Diary Into an EP
the raw diary entries he almost never let anyone read π

The version he buried
For years, Ancosha wore a costume. Right job, right clothes, right person β whatever the world seemed to want. And it nearly killed him. Behind the mask came drug abuse, homelessness, depression, and a stretch after his military career where he had no identity and no purpose. He didn't know who he was anymore.
Here's the thing he figured out the hard way: the real him β the one his wife and kids love the most β was the one he'd spent his whole life trying to hide.
Wrong, his EP, is what happens when a man finally stops pretending.
Music was never optional
Ancosha grew up around it. His dad was the lead singer in a band β Bride β so the noise was in the house before he could walk. He sat down at piano and drums at three or four years old. Taught himself. Then picked up a few more instruments along the way. Music has been his life forever, and it's the one thing that still makes sense to him.
Which makes the next part heavier. When he was hiding, he felt his creativity dying too. The walls he built to protect himself were choking the one thing that kept him alive. So he made a call most people never make: he left his career and poured everything into the lyrics.
What the EP actually costs to listen to
Let's be honest about Wrong and the singles "Wrong" and "Little Me." These are not easy background songs. The lyrics go straight at depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation β the thoughts that make you want to give up. This is raw diary material, released on purpose.
But the point isn't the darkness. It's the way out.
Ancosha isn't handing you your pain and walking off. He's saying it's okay not to be okay. That you're not alone. That there's a giant group of people carrying the same weight, all too afraid to let it out. He wanted this project to be a light at the mouth of the cave for the people hiding inside one β and to give a voice to folks who feel like they don't have one.
The biggest thing he had to overcome wasn't the industry or the setbacks. It was the hate he felt for himself. The belief that he didn't deserve happiness, that he was nothing but a burden to his family. Looking in the mirror and loving what looks back is a hurdle he says he still fights every day. But every new day is another shot at it.
For the first time in his life, Ancosha is an open book. And the message underneath all of it is simple:
Materialistic things aren't real. Love is real. Family is real. Time is the one thing you can't buy more of β so don't waste it pretending to be someone you're not.
What he wants you to walk away with
If there's a takeaway he'd tattoo on new listeners, it's this: you'll never be perfect, and that's fine. Your mistakes aren't what define you β they're the lessons that shaped who you were meant to be. And if you can create, especially musically, never let that go. Chase the dream. Learn to love the reflection.
What's next
This isn't a one-and-done. Ancosha is dropping a full album this year, and he's already written the next one for the year after. Two records deep with a plan.
The endgame isn't a chart number. It's walking out on a stage one day and showing his wife and kids that if you work hard enough and never quit on the thing you love most, you can get there. He wants his kids to see a dad who never gave up. He wants them to see him happy.
You only lose if you quit. He's not quitting.
