Syxx Built a House in His Head — Then Handed You the Key
shy kid, four instruments, one song that changed everything — meet Syxx

The Fear Before The Drop
Most people don't tell you the truth about their first release. They pretend it was easy. Syxx won't lie to you.
"I'm shy as a motherfucker," he says. Posting something for the first time terrified him. Promoting it? Worse. But he did it anyway. He dropped Abandonedhouseinmyhead — a song about feeling trapped, stuck in your own head like a house with no doors and no way out.
And then something happened he didn't expect.
People liked it. More than he thought. "It was kind of life-changing," he says. That's not marketer talk. That's a guy who almost didn't hit publish, watching the thing he was scared of turn into the thing that moved him forward.
From Classic Rock To The Page
Syxx didn't come up chasing trends. He grew up on classic rock. He learned drums. Then sax. Then bass. Then guitar. Four instruments deep before he ever thought of himself as an artist in his own right.
What came before all of that was poetry. Writing was his escape — a place to put the stuff that didn't have anywhere else to go. For a long time those two things lived in separate rooms: the musician who could play, and the writer who bled onto the page.
Then one day it clicked. Why not put the skills to use? Take the poetry and give it a body. That's where the song came from. Not a plan, not a strategy — an instinct that hit and wouldn't let go.
He describes himself in one line: dedicated to my obsession. You believe it. This is somebody who spent years building the toolkit before the world ever heard a note.
What He Actually Wants You To Feel
Here's the thing about Abandonedhouseinmyhead. It's not a flex. It's a confession.
Everything Syxx sings comes straight from his emotions — real problems, real things he's gone through. He's not performing pain for content. He's translating it. The abandoned house isn't a metaphor he workshopped. It's what being stuck in your own head actually feels like when there's nowhere to go.
"Feel my words," is what he asks of new listeners. That's the whole ask. Not stream me, not blow me up — feel it. If you've ever been trapped inside yourself, this song was written from inside that same room.
And the fact that a self-described shy guy chose to make his most vulnerable material his first statement? That tells you what kind of artist he's building toward. He's not hiding behind volume or persona. He's leading with the truth and hoping you meet him there.
Keeping The Dice Rolling
The biggest thing Syxx has had to overcome isn't a beat or a bar. It's himself. It's the fear that comes back every single time he posts — even now, not just the first time. He says the only thing that keeps him moving is knowing this is what he wants to do.
That's honest. Anybody who's ever stared at a finished track terrified to share it knows exactly what he means. He hasn't beaten the fear. He just refuses to let it win the day.
What's Next
The move is bigger now: an album, dropping sometime in September. After proving to himself that people would actually connect with his work, the natural next step is a full body of it.
He knows what he needs to sharpen too. The plan is to lean into marketing and promotion, record videos, get people interacting instead of just listening in silence. Shows aren't booked yet, but he's clear they're coming eventually. This is a guy laying track deliberately, not rushing the train.
If you want to watch a shy kid with four instruments and a notebook full of escape routes turn into whatever he's about to become, get in early.
